8. Speaking and understanding German will deepen your knowledge of the culture and improve your employment opportunities.
9. Learning German provides deeper insights into a region that plays a vital role in central Europe's intellectual and economic life and in its cultural history.
10. In many regions, Germans account for the largest percentage of tourists.

The Arab European Internship Exchange
From the beginning of June onwards, Daimler will host 21 students from the Arab economic region in Stuttgart, Berlin and Cairo. The Arab European Internship Exchange is a programme between Daimler and the Young Arab Leaders (YAL) organization, which offers students the possibility to gain occupational experience abroad within a Daimler company and to build a network within Daimler. Daimler and the Young Arab Leaders have been working together since 2004. Year 2010 is the fourth year in succession that internships are offered as part of this cooperation.
