On 6 December, the German Ambassador to Lebanon, H. E. Martin Huth, formally presented his Letters of Credence from Federal President Joachim Gauck to the President of the Lebanese Republic, General Michel Aoun, at a moving ceremony at Baabda Palace underlining German-Lebanese partnership.

On the occasion of the German National Day on October 3rd, Ambassador Martin Huth and his wife Anahid Hanounik-Huth, welcomed Lebanese and international partners and friends of Germany to a reception at Beirut Yacht Club in Zaytunay Bay. Germany commemorates on this day the overcoming of the county’s separation and celebrates its reunification in 1990.
